The festivities in Ooty have just come to an end. The hills were alive with music, art and dance for 3 days and now as the quiet and calmness descends on the hills we bring to you the glimpses of the day in photos and videos. So those who couldn’t make it to the M.A.D festival this year, here’s something to bring you some solace.

The crowd was fantastic and as the weather held up and the rains didn’t play a spoilsport the bass, jazz, rock, metal, fusion, reggae  and classical – all came together to bring about a mesmerizing and an unforgettable experience in music and dance. The woods was the place to catch up your breath, as two stages had bands performing continuously from morning 11 to way past midnight every day. While en-route to the second stage people could buy knickknacks and kitsch stuff – some useful and some for pure fun! People stayed in tents or close by accommodations and the drive upto Ferrnhills RoyaalPalace was always breathtaking.IMG_2808

The backdrop of a palace for a music festival was intimidating and the lovely lawns proposed the perfect area to lounge around as music lovers heard their favorite band perform.   Bands like Jeramiah Ferrari Sean Ronald and Friends, sky rabbit, 1001 ways, Agam and many others performed at the M.A.D festival at Ferrnhills RoyaalPalace Ooty.
